Prepare your Favorite Sandwich for the Homeless - 4/15/2018
We had this event years ago where many volunteers made their favorite sandwiches for the homeless. What we didn't expect was the amount of sandwiches that were made that day: 1,000 SANDWICHES which we later delivered as a group downtown that same day.
This event was not only special because of the amount of sandwiches that were made that day but also because of how many children volunteered. This is what this organization is about. Bringing awareness to everybody on how much their help is needed especially our youth. I hope to see more faces this year and hopefully make even more sandwiches. REGISTER BELOW!
Event Details:
Please Bring your favorite bread and your favorite choice of meat (ham, chicken, turkey, etc.) and a package of your choice of cheese (Kraft Singles, etc.) or you could also do the Peanut Butter and Jelly, BLT, Reuben, etc. Also bring any additional optional add-ons (lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc). Also condiments (mustard, mayonnaise, etc.)
BRING ANY INGREDIENTS THAT WOULD MAKE UP YOUR FAVORITE SANDWICH!
Items that WILL BE PROVIDED:
-Sandwich Bags.
-Paper Bags.
-Water Bottles for each paper bag
-Mini Bags of Variety Chips for each paper bag
-Knives and cutting boards will be available (used by adults only).
- Plastic spreading knives for the kids.
